Kitchen Refurbishment

This stunning kitchen is high up in the Yorkshire Dales. Over time it had darkened and gone a rusty marmalade colour. The customer wanted a new fresh look, without having to pay thousands of pounds to install a hole new kitchen. This is where we could help...

Filling in the knot holes

We set about the first task of filling the numerous knot holes with 2 pack filler. This took about two days of hard work, but is essential if you want a professional finish. Then is was time for a thorough rub down, and ESP to clean and prime. Finally a coat of Zinsser primer completes the preparation.

We then set about applying 5/6 coats of colour, plus a special decorators varnish to create a beautiful, hard wearing, wipe clean finish.

To add a bit more lux we added new knobs, oak finish with Os wax, and the look was complete.

The kitchen was transformed and looks brand new - who would have thought it wast15 years old!
